I've been slow on updates, sorry.
Well, a year later it's red. Just this week he finished the stripes and lettering and has sprayed the clearcoat. I'm sure it's never been this shiny!

Remaining at the shop now is for the paint to be rubbed out, grill and taillights painted, and these, bumbers and a few other parts put back on. This, I'm told, should be mostly done by this time next week.
